Check My Column by ReGenFix
If you would like to check the status of your column, you can use this simple calculation tool by entering a few parameters.
These parameters can be obtained with a quick run using acetone injection. Follow the protocol for your column type (see below), save the chromatogram data in .xlsx format, and measure the length of the resin bed in your column. Upload the .xlsx file, enter the length in meters, enter the column type, and click “Calculate.” You will immediately see whether your column’s performance parameters are Good or Bad, and therefore whether the column needs to be ReGenFixed.
- Protocol for 5/150 columns:
flow rate: 0.2 mL/min
0.5% Acetone injection: 25 µL
- Protocol for 5/150 increase columns:
flow rate: 0.3 mL/min
2% Acetone injection: 10 µL
- Protocol for 10/300 columns:
flow rate: 0.75 mL/min
0.5% Acetone injection: 100 µL
- Protocol for 10/300 increase columns:
flow rate: 1.0 mL/min
2% Acetone injection: 100 µL
- Protocol for 16/600 columns:
flow rate: 2.0 mL/min
2% Acetone injection: 200 µL
- Protocol for 26/600 columns:
flow rate: 5.3 mL/min
2% Acetone injection: 500 µL
